These pages are designed to help you install and use the AudioTravel Mobile City Guide.
Before you begin, please make sure that you use the most recent version of the application. Send us an
email (mobile@audiotravel.com) if you have any questions or recommendations.
Windows PC and Bluetooth Connection
Please note: This is the recommended installation method. |
- Download the jar file from the AudioTravel web site
- On your phone activate Bluetooth. Make sure that your phone is set to visible
(not hidden). For details on how to do this please refer to the user manual provided
by the manufacturer of your phone.
- In Windows Explorer browse to the location where you saved the jar file. Then
right click the jar file and select "Send to" then "Bluetooth device" and select
your phone. Please be patient, the transfer may take several minutes.
- On your phone accept the application by following your phones instructions.

Windows PC and Nokia PC suite (Nokia phones)

- Make sure that the Nokia PC Suite is correctly installed on your
computer.
- Connect your phone to the computer.
- Download the jar file to your computer from the AudioTravel web site.
- Start the Nokia application manager and browse to the location where you
saved the jar
file.
- Double-click the jar file.

Windows PC and Samsung PC Studio (Samsung phones)
|
- Make sure that the Samsung PC Studio is correctly installed on your
computer.
- Connect your phone to the computer.
- From the AudioTravel web site download the jar and jad files to your
computer.
- In Samsung PC Studio open file manager (click "Manage Files")
- Copy .jad and .jar to the "Other Files" folder on your phone.
- Disconnect phone.
- On your phone go to "Other Files", run the jad file and install the
application.

Windows PC and the phones internal memory card (Motorola phones)
|

This installation method requires a phone with a memory card slot and a
supported memory card such as mini SD or micro SD card for example. |
- Download the jar file to your computer from the AudioTravel web site.
- Insert the phone memory card into your computer, using an adapter if
necessary.
- In Windows Explorer a new drive will appear (for example E:\).
- Copy the jar file to the mobile/kjava folder on the memory card. For
example E:\mobile\kjava.
- Insert the phone memory card into the phone.
- On your phone go to Games and select "Install new..."
- Choose the jar file (for example mobile_demo) from the list and press
Install.
- Accept any warnings that might be displayed during the installation
process.

Direct Phone Download
|

Important note: the file you download has a size of 11MB. This may lead to high
data charges by your phone service provider. To install simply point your
Internet enabled phone to http://audiotravel.com/wap and select the download
option. |
