These pages are designed to help you install and use the AudioTravel Mobile City Guide
on your Windows Mobile device.
Before you begin
During this procedure, make sure your phone is connected to the charger. Also, we recommend doing a full backup of your personal data before
proceeding. Microsoft ActiveSync allows backup. See your manufacturer manual for more details on how to do this.
Phone preparation
This section will explain how to enable the usage of the memory card for Java applications on your Windows Mobile phone. This is mandatory only
if your phone has less than 45 MB of available memory. To verify the amount of memory available go to "Settings" and then to "Memory".

If your phone has less than 45MB of memory available
If your phone has more than 45MB of internal memory available you can safely skip this procedure and continue with the step "Application installation" below.
- Insert a storage card with at least 50MB of available storage space. See your manufacturer manual for cards compatible to your device
- Using the file explorer on your phone create an "Application Data" directory (without double quotes) on your Memory card ("\Storage Card")
- To create a directory. Go to "\Storage Card", press and hold the stylus and select "New directory".
- Copy the content of the directory "\Application Data\Tao" to "\Storage Card\Application Data\Tao"
- To copy a directory in the file explorer. Go to "\Application Data". Click and hold the stylus on "Tao". In the popup menu select "Copy".
Then go to "\Storage Card\Application Data". There, click and hold the stylus and select "Paste".
- Verification: When going to "My device\Storage Card\Application Data\Tao\intent\" you should now
be able to see a file named rofs_target (or rofs_target.zip). If you cannot see this file in this directory, DO NOT PROCEED FURTHER, try again
from step 1 or contact us for assistance.
- Install taoreg.CAB
- Transfer the file to your phone
- Click on it from the file explorer. If you have used Bluetooth to transfer the file, the file will be located in "\My Documents"
- Confirm the unknown provider notice
- Select Device when asked for the target location
- Shut down your phone
- close all your documents
- press and hold the power button
- confirm the warning message
- Restart your phone
Application installation
This section will explain this installation of Munich.jar (this procedure may block your phone during up to 20 minutes)
- Transfer the Munich.jar file to your device
- To transfer a file you can use Bluetooth from your computer (right click on the file, select Send To... and via Bluetooth).
- Click on it from the file explorer. If you have used Bluetooth to transfer the file, the file will be located in "\My Documents".

- The "MIDlet Manager" will start and ask confirmation. Say yes
- The progress indicator will stay on screen during as much as 20 minutes. This is one time only, once the installation is done, starting
the application will be nearly instantaneous.
