Research, Text, Layout and Quality
“I’m an American living abroad. For the past four years my husband and I have called Gräfelfing near
Munich, Germany home. My first year and a half here, I had a full-time job in research, until in 2004
my curiosity won out, and I started a company that I call AudioTravel. Starting with Munich was an obvious
choice for me: it’s where I live, but where, at the same time, I’m a foreigner. Then I began to research,
coordinate and test until… the first storyboard was born.”

Everything technical
“Through my experience in the research and development of technically innovative ideas and products
I contribute to the future of the company. We want to offer our customers the best quality in content
and technology and still have everything exceptionally easy to use. I continuously work on this.”
Read about how it began...
Athens was hot. We’d just finished a guided tour and were taking a much-needed break in a local cafe,
cooling off with ice cream. The tour had been really frustrating – the group was too large and the information
was too generic. All in all, it left us feeling like we missed so much. Yes, we’re travelers just like
you and we want to discover a new city in our own way. And that’s why, in that little cafe in Athens,
AudioTravel was born.
Our Philosophy:
If you’re like us, you love traveling and exploring new cities. You’re interested in local culture and
the often forgotten stories surrounding the city’s sites. You’re moved by legends and myths and the
cultural and political events that give each city its character. If you’re like us, you want to immerse
yourself in a city. Audio- Travel allows you to do exactly that – your way.
With AudioTravel, there are no tourist groups to dictate what you see and do, no heavy books to weigh
you down, and no schedules to follow. You get all the information you want… when you want it. AudioTravel
includes all the important basics: a clear and concise overview, recommended route, and tips on how
to get around the city like a local. But it also includes much more: political events, cultural background,
and even a few local legends. AudioTravel works if you’re traveling alone, in pairs or in groups. With
AudioTravel, you get to explore a new city your way and you won’t miss a thing.
